According to information from the monitoring center of the National Development and Reform Commission, due to the dramatic increase in crude oil production in the United States, the global financial market has been turbulent, and the increase in international oil prices in the previous period was relatively large, and there was a demand for corrections. In mid-February, international oil prices fell sharply to the level at the end of 2017. Later, due to the increase in global crude oil demand, OPEC's implementation of higher production cuts, and the instability of Libya's crude oil supply were boosted, and international oil prices gradually recovered from relatively low levels.
The price monitoring center of the National Development and Reform Commission estimates that international oil prices will remain volatile during the current period. As the global crude oil market is at a critical node of supply and demand rebalancing, uncertain events such as geopolitical conflicts will increase the volatility of oil prices.
