1 If the ore surrounding rock is stable and the mining site allows a large exposed area for a certain period of time, the open field mining method should be adopted; when the stability of the ore is slightly poor, the design should be based on the structural parameters of the stope, roof maintenance, and chiseling. Take appropriate measures in rock technology and other aspects;
    2 When the technical conditions of mining is allowed, it is advisable to adopt a large-diameter deep-hole empty-field mining method with medium degree of mechanization and high intelligence, or a medium-deep hole segmental empty-field mining method;
    3 Mines adopting the comprehensive mining method and the room-piling mining method shall set aside appropriate pillars according to the stability of the roof; when the pillars need to be recycled, safety measures shall be taken;
    4 Mines using the open field mining method shall have facilities and equipment for monitoring and forecasting the site pressure, and shall take measures to fill, isolate or forcefully collapse the surrounding rock;
    5 The ore recovery rate of the empty field mining method, the thick ore body should not be less than 85% ; the medium thick ore body should not be less than 80% ; the thin ore body should not be less than 75% .
