On July 20th, Yuchai’s senior leaders and the backbone of the marketing team jointly analyzed and summarized the marketing situation in the first half of the year in Yulin headquarters. At the same time, they deployed the marketing work in the second half of the year and initiated a total attack on the goal of 470,000 units throughout the year.

With the development of Chinese autos, starting from 2011, the global and Chinese auto markets have entered a completely new phase, and the entire industry has ended its decade-long growth period and entered a period of “micro-growth” with single-digit growth. In this environment, Yuchai seized the rare opportunity that the market started to pick up in the first half of this year, responded to the overall market's slight growth with active offense, and achieved a large increase in engine sales.

It is understood that in the first half of this year, the power of passenger cars in the industry has changed greatly. Among them, gas engines and hybrids have developed at a rapid rate, with growth rates of 35.8% and 386%, respectively; Yuchai’s advantages in these two markets are relatively obvious, making passenger car power continue to be maintained. The industry first, the market share steadily increased. In the truck segment, Yuchai’s growth mainly comes from the rapid development of YC6M, YC6L and gas engines, which is higher than the industry. Throughout the machine sector, the Agricultural Machinery market is still very hot. In the case that the construction machinery power is still declining, relying on the strong support of the agricultural machinery market, it continues to maintain a large growth. In terms of exports, Yuchai’s growth is also quite obvious.
