The Yangtze River Frontline Maritime Organization Achieves Linkage Enforcement

Three directly-affiliated maritime bureaus (Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Yangtze River Maritime Affairs Bureau) and 11 (Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Anhui, Jiangsu, Shanghai, and Henan) provinces directly under the Yangtze River (including the southwest mountainous area). City) The local Maritime Administration held a joint meeting of maritime administration agencies, marking the official launch of the Yangtze River Water Management Maritime Management Linkage Mechanism, and 14 maritime agencies to implement joint enforcement.

Through the joint meeting, 14 maritime management agencies in the waters of the Yangtze River (including the southwest mountainous area) identified the “Working Mechanism for the Linkage and Cooperation of Maritime Administrative Institutions in the Yangtze River Basin (including Southwest Mountainous Areas)” and the “Coordinated Maritime Management Agency in the Yangtse River Frontier (including Southwest Mountain Areas) Waters. The "Conference System" clearly defined four items of linkage and cooperation, namely, joint enforcement of maritime traffic safety supervision and law enforcement, sharing and notification of maritime traffic safety supervision information, exchange and training of officials, and scientific and technological development and cooperation.

At the same time, all units will share basic data on maritime management such as company registrants, registered ships, registered seafarers, and ship inspections, as well as navigation safety information, etc., thereby achieving complementarity and joint enforcement of the Yangtze River water safety supervision, and effectively enhancing management efficiency and service levels.
