Shanchuan Heavy Industry won the 1+1 drilling platform cantilever beam reconstruction project contract

Recently, the contract of the 1+1 “HY92” series jack-up drilling platform cantilever beam reconstruction project undertaken by Shanhai Heavy Industry Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. came into effect.

The series of platforms are affiliated to CCS and ABS classification societies with a total length of 57.2 meters, a width of 53.34 meters, a depth of 7.62 meters and a total length of 94 meters. The purpose of this transformation is to improve the drilling operation capacity and operation effect. The project includes cantilever beam lengthening, cantilever beam movement, follow-up device modification, and punch pile pipeline reconstruction. The project is expected to add 160 tons of new steel structure. 1200 meters, replace the cable 12125 meters. Among them, the “Offshore Oil 922” drilling platform is expected to enter the factory in January next year. The current design, equipment and materials procurement, and new prefabrication are being carried out in an orderly manner. The undertaking of the platform reconstruction project will accumulate valuable experience for various modification and construction projects of similar products, and enhance the brand effect of the company in the field of marine engineering project modification and construction.
