In the year of 2010, the transpot of white potash fertilizer in the port increased by 1.3 times from the 437,000 tons in 2009 to 1 million tons. White potash is mainly exported via the ports of Klaipeda, Lithuania, Ventspils, Latvia, and Nikolaev Port, Ukraine. In 2010, Belarusian Potash Fertilizer Co., Ltd. exported 6.8 million tons of potash fertilizer to more than 50 countries, more than double the 29.48 million tons exported in 2009.
