According to the latest statistics, ethylene production in March increased by a significant 25.4% year-on-year to 1.36 million tons, which is more than 102,000 tons of ethylene in February. In the first quarter, ethylene production increased by 32% year-on-year to 3.948 million tons.
In March, China's synthetic rubber production increased by 28.3% year-on-year to 340,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 14.6% to 8.84 million tons. Polyester production increased by 2.8% from the same period last year to 1.021 million tons, which was a 5.9% year-on-year increase to 2.924 million tons.
