The wind power industry project is a “billion-yuan project†jointly built by the city and China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation. The wind power control system is the command center and central nervous system of the whole wind turbine. It is known as the “brain†of wind power products. It is mainly composed of towers. The base cabinet, the cabin cabinet, the rectifier cabinet and the pitch control cabinet are composed of high technical requirements, various parameters are extremely complicated, and assembly and debugging are difficult.
According to the strategic cooperation framework agreement signed by the municipal government and China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation in 2006, the wind power industry project is one of the top ten industrial projects initiated by the city this year. It will drive the relevant supporting enterprises of the city in the next 3-5 years. At the same time, the city will also be built into an important domestic wind power equipment R & D and production base, and into the top three wind power industry in the country.
It is reported that Chongqing Qianwei Instrument Factory has started the preliminary work of the first domestic 2MW wind power control system assembly with completely independent intellectual property rights.
