ORIENTAL MOTOR has introduced the "Orthogonal shaft Combination type" with the "RA/RH" orthogonal shaft gear head in the small AC motor "World K" series. Since the gear head and motor are pre-assembled, it is easy to install on the unit. Moreover, both can be disassembled, so that the direction in which the cable is taken out can be changed according to the device, or one of the two can be replaced at the time of maintenance.
The former orthogonal shaft gear head uses a worm gear, and the Combination type uses a hyperbolic gear. In this way, the efficiency of the gear is increased while improving the efficiency. The maximum permissible torque is 40 N·m, which is twice the previous product. In addition, while improving the structure of the gear head, the internal bearing is also replaced, thereby achieving a long life. The rated life is 1000 hours, which is twice that of the previous orthogonal shaft gear head.
The new products are available in both hollow shaft and solid shaft types, which have screw holes at the front end of the shaft. This is to prevent the transmission parts such as the installed pulley from slipping off.
