"Plywood rib" method welding repair excavator boom bushing

First remove it with the "Drilling by Light" method. It should be noted that in order to remove the boom, the pin must be removed. Then use the "plywood rib" method to weld repair. First heat the area to be welded with an oxygen-acetylene flame, calibrate with a press, and clean the surface oil and dirt. E5016 low hydrogen potassium type electrode is used, the core diameter is 3.2mm, DC reverse connection, current is 100A. Spot the front side first, then spot the back side, and finally weld the side to reduce distortion. After the overall welding is completed, the welding slag is removed and the weld formation is checked. Then use an angle grinder to smooth the upper part of the weld to facilitate the reinforcement of the board. Two pieces of iron plate with the specification of 300mm×100mm×10mm are used for “plywood fixing rib”, and the side is reinforced with iron plate with the specification of 150mm×100mm×10mm. The welding current is adjusted to 110A, the joint is lapped, and the angle of the welding rod is adjusted to 45. Degree, straight line, one-shot molding, and then remove the welding slag.

Finally, the installation is carried out by the “moving the car” method. Use a crane, loader or excavator to lift one end of the welded boom and start the excavator to be repaired (note that the inlet and return pipes are docked to prevent oil leakage), so that the base pin hole and movement The arm sleeve holes are aligned and the boom is lowered. Check the alignment position of the boom pin sleeve hole and the base pin hole through the small hole punched in the cab, and then slowly push the pin into the pin sleeve hole to complete the installation.
