Federal-Mogul Group announced the appointment of Cornelius Fricke as vice president of Asia Pacific. Fricke's office is located in Shanghai, China. The direct business is under the jurisdiction of Jean Brunol, senior vice president of operations strategy.
"Cornelius's position in this position will provide the company with rich management, operations and local experience, which will strongly support the Federal-Mogul Group's sustainable global profit growth strategy," said Brunol. "His extensive operational knowledge will be a valuable asset for us."
Prior to joining Federal-Mogul, Fricke had held several positions in several companies in Germany and Asia, and gradually embarked on an important position. Previously, Fricke served as chief operating officer of INA Schaeffler Group in Shanghai, China. He was responsible for all production-related operations, core technologies, strategic procurement, and quality management in the Asia Pacific region. During his time as Chief Operating Officer of the INA Schaeffler Group, Fricke not only managed three new production plants in Taicang, Jiangsu Province, but also responsible for 28 product lines and a newly completed R&D technology center in Anting, China. The number of employees in the area increased from 230 to 3,500.
Fricke received a degree in engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt, Germany.
