The new regulations will be implemented in two phases starting from November 1, 2013.
This regulation describes in detail the eco-design requirements for power- and gas-fired home tumble dryers and built-in dryers, but does not include home laundry dryers and home spin dryers. It is worth noting that ecological design requirements include general ecological design requirements and special ecological design requirements. At the same time, it is required to clearly mark the “standard cotton program†mark on the dryer and its instruction manual, clearly indicate the highest energy efficiency of the program, and should be set as the default procedure as far as possible; special ecological design requirements refer to energy Efficiency index and weighted condensing efficiency. Their calculation method is listed in the Annex of the Regulations, and the implementation schedule for implementation from November 1, 2013 to November 1, 2015 is set forth.
In this regard, the inspection and quarantine authorities reminded exporting companies that: first, they must actively collect information on relevant technical trade measures, conduct analysis and research on the above two design requirements, and make preparations in advance; second, carry out technological innovation, improve production technology, and upgrade product technology.
