At 8 o'clock on the October 10th, Daqing Petrochemical Company set up a 6 million-tonne/year atmospheric and vacuum decompression device for a new set of atmospheric and vacuum safety and energy saving retrofit projects to start production. All the side-line products met the design conditions, indicating that the company's first refining capacity has been achieved. The 10 million tons/year effectively solved the problem of weak processing capacity of the oil refining system, potential safety hazards, and high energy consumption, and played a positive role in improving product quality, reducing production costs, and enhancing the development potential of Daqing Petrochemical.
It is reported that the project has a total investment of 990 million yuan, consisting of a new 6 million tons/year atmospheric/decompression device, a central control room, and a first circulating water field. The project was fully started on May 15, 2011 and will be submitted on August 30, 2012.
According to reports, the completion of a 6-million-ton atmospheric-pressure reduction device has effectively improved Daqing Petrochemical's crude oil processing capacity while meeting the demand for 1.2 million tons/year of ethylene and other devices for chemical raw materials, enabling the company to integrate its refining and chemical industries. It is even more obvious that the comprehensive competitiveness has further improved.
