Before adjusting the valve timing, install a 360° graduated dial on the front of the crankshaft and place an adjustable pointer on the front cover.
(1) Adjusting the valve clearance of the 12-cylinder V-type diesel engine Remove the cylinder head cover 売, and turn the crankshaft so that the pointer on the inspection window of the flywheel housing is aligned with the time zero line on the flywheel (note the installation position of the pointer, the two sides of the pointer are placed on the flywheel Between the two limit mark lines on the shell, be careful not to deform the pointer during operation. Then align the pointer placed on the front cover with the zero degree line on the dial and fix it.
At this time, the first cylinder and the sixth cylinder piston are at the top dead center at the same time. To determine if the first cylinder is at the start of the expansion stroke, remove the fuel pump side cover plate and observe if the first cylinder fuel injection pump plunger spring is in a compressed state to determine: or rotate the crankshaft slightly to observe the advancement of the first cylinder. Check whether the exhaust valve is at rest. The valve clearance can then be adjusted. In this position, the crankshaft can simultaneously adjust the intake and exhaust valve clearances of the listed cylinders. In the same way, the sixth cylinder and the seventh cylinder are at the expansion starting point.
(2) Adjustment of the valve clearance of the 6-cylinder diesel engine Remove the cylinder head cover and turn the crankshaft so that the pointer on the inspection window of the flywheel housing is aligned with the time zero line on the flywheel. At this time, the pistons of the 1st and 6th cylinders are at the top dead center position, and then Determine which cylinder in the TDC cylinder is at the beginning of the expansion stroke. Remove the side cover of the fuel injection pump and observe if the springs of the injection pump cylinders are in compression; or slightly rotate the crankshaft to observe the inlet and exhaust valves. Whether it is at rest or not. When the injection pump plunger spring is in a compressed state or the crankshaft rotates, the cylinder in which the intake and exhaust valves do not move is in the position of the expansion stroke starting point.
After the starting point of the expansion stroke is determined, when the first cylinder piston is at the starting point of the expansion stroke, the cylinder number of the valve can be adjusted. When adjusting the valve clearance, you can use a wrench and a screwdriver to loosen the nut and adjustment screw on the rocker arm. Use a thin gauge with the corresponding specifications to insert between the rocker arm and the valve. Turn the adjustment screw to allow the rocker arm and the valve Contact with the thin gauge but still able to move; then tighten the nut and repeat the thin gauge for inspection.
3. Check the timing of the valve timing After the valve valve clearance is adjusted, the timing of the valve timing can be checked. In normal conditions, the valve timing can be guaranteed within the tolerance range without any adjustment. When adjusting, start from the first cylinder and turn the crankshaft to maintain the gap between the valve and the rocker arm, hold the joint on the push rod with your hand, and gently rotate, while pressing the crankshaft to turn the Fangdian slowly to turn the crankshaft when pushing When the lever joint just can't be turned by hand, it means that the air valve starts to open. At this time, the angle at which the valve opens can be determined according to the pointer and dial installed on the front end of the crankshaft. When the crankshaft continues to rotate, when the joint on the push rod can not turn from hand rotation to hand rotation, it means that the gas valve is closed, so that the timing of the gas distribution of each cylinder is checked in order of firing. The timing of the gas distribution must be in accordance with the values ​​in the preceding diesel technical parameters. If there is excessive wear and does not meet the requirements due to long use, the valve clearance can be adjusted to make a slight compensation. Reducing the valve clearance can cause the valve to open early and delay closing; increasing the valve clearance is the opposite. However, after the compensation adjustment, the valve clearance should still be within the specified range.
4. Adjustment of oil pressure After starting the diesel engine, when the rotation speed is around 600r/min, the oil pressure should not be lower than 49kPa. When the rotation speed is calibrated, the diesel engine oil pressure is 245-392kPa. If the diesel engine oil pressure is inconsistent with the above regulations, it should be Make timely adjustments.
When adjusting, unscrew the oil seal nut on the pressure regulating valve, loosen the lock nut, turn the adjusting screw with a screwdriver, and screw in the adjusting bolt to increase the oil pressure; lower the rotation until it is adjusted to the specified range. After adjustment, tighten the lock nut and install the oil nut.
5. Triangular tape tension adjustment When the diesel engine is working, the delta rubber belt should maintain a certain degree of tension. When 29 to 49N of pressure is applied to the middle of the V-belt, the tape should be able to press 10 to 20mm. Over-tightening will cause increased wear of the bearing on the charging generator, fan and pump; too loose will cause the driven accessory to reach the required rotation speed, resulting in a drop in the charging generator voltage, a decrease in the fan air flow rate and the pump flow rate, thus affecting the diesel engine. The normal operation, it should regularly check and adjust the triangular tape tension.
The tension of the 12-cylinder V-diesel cam bead is adjusted by using the adjustment screw on the fan frame to change the fan shaft on the mount.
The 6-cylinder diesel engine can be adjusted by changing the position of the charging generator and the tensioner. After the elasticity of the V-belt is appropriate, the stay is fixed.
The correct use and tensioning of the triangular rubber band is beneficial to extending the service life of the triangular rubber band. When the delta rubber belt is subject to peeling and delamination and the elongation is too large to achieve the specified degree of tension, it should be replaced immediately.
When buying and adjusting the triangle image tape, it should be noted that the new belt model and length are the same as the original triangle belt. If one group uses the same two or more V-belts, the actual length should be selected to be similar to the group. Otherwise, the uneven tension of each triangular rubber band is easily damaged.
