Chongqing receives 196 million yuan in funds for new energy vehicles

According to the Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Finance, this part of the funds is used as a subsidy for the car price of the company, subsidizing 452 new energy vehicles produced and sold by three automobile companies from January to September 2013 in Chongqing. Among them, Chongqing Hengtong Bus Co., Ltd. sold 375 vehicles and received subsidies of 93.75 million yuan. Chongqing Wuzhou Longxin Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd. sold 60 vehicles and received a subsidy of 15 million yuan. Chongqing Lifan Passenger Vehicle Co., Ltd., another manufacturer of new energy passenger vehicles, sold 17 vehicles and received subsidies of 850,000 yuan. For consumers, the government gave subsidies to encourage new energy vehicles to lower prices. Xia Ming, deputy general manager of Zhongke Lifan, gave an example. For example, a pure electric vehicle with a mileage of 150-250 kilometers was used in Lifan. The unit price of this car was 270,000 yuan in the initial stage of the listing. However, once national and local subsidies are provided, the price of new energy vehicles may drop below 150,000 yuan.
