Among them, the energy consumption per 10,000 yuan of industrial output of 18 enterprises including Sinopec Jiujiang Branch and Jianghan Branch of Jiangxi Changjiu Chemical Co., Ltd., which was included in the National “Energy Conservation Campaign for Thousands of Enterprisesâ€, decreased by 17.3%, saving 3.46 million tons of standard coal. The company increased its economic efficiency by 220 million yuan. In respect of emission reduction, the chemical oxygen demand was cut by 5,000 tons, and sulfur dioxide emissions were reduced by about 15,000 tons, which was more than 1,000 tons and 2,300 tons respectively lower than the target set by the provincial government.
