The pollution situation in China's coastal waters remains severe

The 2007 “China Marine Environment Quality Bulletin” issued by the State Oceanic Administration on January 15 (hereinafter referred to as the “Gazette”) shows that the pollution situation in China’s coastal waters remains severe. The number and area of marine red tides discovered during the year were 82 times respectively. With 11,610 square kilometers, red tide-prone areas are mainly concentrated in the East China Sea.

The communique pointed out that the water quality of the offshore areas has improved slightly, but the pollution level is still serious. Most of the offshore sea areas are clean sea areas, and the water quality of the offshore waters is in good condition. The total area of sea areas that did not meet the standards of clean water quality was approximately 145,000 square kilometers, which was approximately 0.4 million square kilometers less than in 2006. Severely polluted sea areas are mainly distributed in Liaodong Bay, Bohai Bay, Huanghekou, Laizhou Bay, Yangtze River estuary, Hangzhou Bay, Pearl River estuary, and some large and medium-sized cities nearshore local waters. The main pollutants in seawater are still inorganic nitrogen, active phosphates and oils. Pollution in the Bohai Sea is still serious. The area that does not meet the clean water quality standards is about 24,000 square kilometers, accounting for about 31% of the total area of the Bohai Sea.

Li Xiaoming, Director of the Marine Environmental Protection Division of the State Oceanic Administration, said that the marine administrative authorities at all levels continued to increase the monitoring of land-sourced sea outlets. Among the 573 sea outlets monitored for implementation, about 87.6% of the sewage outlets exceeded the standards. Pollutants, the main pollutants exceeded the chemical oxygen demand, phosphate, suspended solids and ammonia nitrogen. The proportion of sewage discharge outlets that exceeded the standards in Guangxi, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang ranks among the top three in the country.

A Load Moment Indicator is an instrument used in determining whether a certain load could be carried by the Tower Crane or not. When the operator runs the tower crane, load moment indicator could show the comprehensive working condition of the tower crane, which help him run the tower crane safe and effective.

Models of load moment indicator: RC-A5-I load moment indicator, RC-A5-I Tower Crane Load Moment Indicator, Load Moment Indicator CXT30.

When more than one set of tower crane work at the same time, Tower Crane Anti-Collision Safety System will be required. A multi-function Safety System for Tower Crane integrated load moment indicator with anti-collision & Zone Protection System and remote online monitoring system. It indicates real time working states of tower crane and tower crane group both in operator cabin and online. In the meantime it combines functions including black box, anti-collision & zone protection. The system is applicable to various types of level-jib and luffing Tower Cranes. It adopted the most advanced ARM embedded intelligent microprocessor technology, high precision digital azimuth sensor, weighing sensor, angle sensor.which greatly enhanced data processing capability with higher precision and higher stability.
