Recently, the North China Petroleum First Machinery Plant actively organized the trial production of the X80 steel pipe of the Second West-East Gas Pipeline. According to the requirements of the pipe type for the second-line area of ​​the West-East Gas Pipeline, the 1219×18.4 mm spiral welded pipe was successfully produced.
The transmission pressure of the second line of the West-East Gas Pipeline reached 12 MPa, and the X80 steel pipe used in the first-class area reached a wall thickness of 18.4 mm, which greatly exceeded the parameters of the first-line steel pipe of the West-East Gas Pipeline. In order to verify the development capability of the domestic steel mill X80 pipeline steel and the performance of the pipe making unit, especially whether the fracture toughness of the steel pipe can meet the requirements, the factory carried out the trial production of X80 spiral welded pipe on January 20, and the test was carried out by Baosteel. Low carbon sorghum HTP rolled coil and TMCP rolled coil developed by WISCO. After testing, the fracture toughness of all the trial steel pipes is very good. It provides the reference data of the tough physical level that the steel pipe can reach, and also the second-line steel pipe and system for the West-East Gas Pipeline. Reference data are provided for the development of technical conditions for pipe sheets.
