China Drying Network News Air Products announced on July 18 that it has obtained an important contract from Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. to supply ultra-high purity nitrogen and other bulk gases for Samsung Electronics' chip factory in Xi'an High-tech Zone, including oxygen and argon. Gas, hydrogen, helium, and compressed dry air . The first phase of the Samsung Electronics Project is scheduled to be put into operation in the second half of 2013. The project is Samsung Electronics’ largest foreign investment project to date and the most advanced chip factory in China. According to the contract, Air Products will invest in the construction of a number of large air separation plants. While providing gas to Samsung Electronics, liquid gas products will also serve the commercial gas market in the region.
