In the first half of the year, the price of cars will decrease

The monitoring data from the National Development Committee's Price Monitoring Center on 36 large and medium-sized cities across the country showed that the prices of the national automobile market fell in the first half of the year, and the prices of domestically-made cars and imported cars all went down in varying degrees.

In the first half of the year, domestic car prices have decreased by 0.71% from the end of last year, of which, the chain fell by 0.53% in May, the largest drop since the beginning of the year, and the average price in each month fell by 1.07% from the same period of last year.

Passenger car has become the main driving force for pulling down prices. The cumulative price of passenger cars in the first half of the year fell by 1.06% from the end of last year, and the monthly average price fell by 1.63% compared with the same period of last year. In the subdivided models, the cumulative price of sports passenger cars and minibuses decreased by 2.12% and 1.97% respectively from the end of last year, and the cumulative price of basic passenger cars increased by 0.64% from the end of last year. The monthly average price of all models was low. Price levels in the same period last year.

Commercial vehicle prices have generally remained stable and slightly lower, and prices of different models have varied. The cumulative price of commercial vehicles in the first half of the year was 0.30% lower than that at the end of last year, and the average monthly price was 0.37% lower than the same period of last year. Among them, the cumulative price of commercial buses dropped by 0.98% from the end of last year, and the monthly average price decreased by 1.16% compared with the same period of last year. The price of commercial trucks has increased by 0.66% from the end of last year, and the average monthly price has increased by 2.15% from the same period of last year.

In addition, imported cars have fallen more than this year, and prices have continued to fall. As imported cars continued to sell well in the second half of last year, luxury cars were queued up at the end of the year for a fare increase, and the price of individual models increased by several hundred thousand yuan, allowing dealers to earn a lot of profits. Since the auto market as a whole has weakened this year, consumer spending psychology has weakened, and price reductions on imported cars have become the main means for dealers to seize market share.

In the first half of the year, the cumulative price of imported automobiles decreased by 0.83% from the end of last year, and the average monthly price dropped by 2.94% compared with the same period of last year, both of which were more than the imported cars. Among them, the price of imported cars decreased by 1.87% from the end of last year, and the monthly average price dropped by 4.58% compared with the same period of last year; the cumulative price of imported SUVs rose slightly by 0.19% from the end of last year, and the monthly average price decreased by 1.26% compared with the same period of last year.
