Xianyang Municipal Government and Shaanxi Xingwang Enterprise Group Co., Ltd. signed a large-scale coal chemical project implementation agreement. It is reported that the total investment of the project is 44.6 billion yuan, and the project will mainly build 3.6 million tons of coal-made methanol, 10 million tons of coal coking, 1 million tons of coal tar, and 1.4 million tons of olefins. The first phase of the investment was 11.8 billion yuan, and the DMTO second-generation technology with independent intellectual property rights in China was used to build a 680,000-ton methanol-to-olefins project with a construction period of 2 years.
