Tianjin Jinghai Tangguantun processing logistics area recently held a foundation stone laying ceremony for new biodiesel and alcohol ether fuel projects.
The project is located in the energy zone of Tangguantun Processing Logistics Park in Jinghai, Tianjin, with a total investment of 50 million yuan. It is invested by Tianjin Chengyue New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and utilizes new equipment and processes independently developed to produce biodiesel and new ether fuels. The project is expected to be completed by the end of November 2012. After the project is put into production, it will produce 100,000 tons of diesel fuel and 300,000 tons of new fuels for alcohol ethers. The estimated output value is 2.5 billion yuan.
The new project is of great significance for optimizing the local energy sector's industrial structure, improving the energy sector's industrial chain, and improving the functional positioning of the energy sector.
