PANASIA receives order for ballast water management system

A few days ago, PANASIA, located in Busan, South Korea, signed a new ballast water management system order for more than 150 ships. Of these, 43 have been delivered. According to another report, the company will also build a third factory by the end of 2012.

It is reported that PANASIA's GloEn-PatrolTM ballast water management system removes particulates and organic matter from ballast water by using filters and UV disinfection devices. Because no chemicals such as biocides are needed, the system is economical and offers the lowest operating costs and minimal maintenance.
