China Railway Baogong's First Plateau Rail Car Successfully Delivered to Qinghai-Tibet Railway

Recently, the plateau railcar developed and produced by China Railway Baogong Xintie Road Maintenance Machinery Co., Ltd. has passed all kinds of debugging and was sent to the General Headquarters of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway Construction. The vehicle adopts a V-type turbocharged air-cooled diesel engine with an installed power of 386 kilowatts. In order to meet the special operational requirements of the high altitude environment, low-temperature startup and temperature-increasing and heating facilities have been specially designed. The vehicle transmission and auxiliary facilities are designed below the floor, which greatly increases the effective use of space in the vehicle.
