A few days ago, this newspaper received a number of readers to inquire about Beijing ahead of the end of the implementation of the National III emission standards at the end of last year, now there are several truck products on the market to choose from, to mention the spot and on the card. In order to provide more readers and users with this information, the reporter recently conducted an unannounced visit to the truck dealers in Beijing, and learned from the fact that the current state III truck market has some real conditions.

There are many domestic manufacturers of light trucks, but they are not in perfect harmony. Most manufacturers do not have any products of the State III. Therefore, in the survey, the reporters selectively chose the dealers of several mainstream light truck companies to make unannounced visits. Among them, Foton Light Trucks, Dongfeng Light Trucks, JAC Light Trucks, Yuejin Light Trucks, Jiangling Light Trucks, Liberation Light Trucks and Qingling Light Trucks are the targets of this survey.

In spite of this, according to the survey conducted by the reporters, except for a few products such as Foton Ao Ling, Jianghuai Weiling and Qingling that can meet the national III standard, other brands of light trucks have not yet entered the Beijing III national environmental protection catalog. Can not enter the environmental protection directory, also expect to see the license plate on the vehicle management station in Beijing.

During the unannounced visits, six dealers told reporters that there are currently no light trucks sold by China III. If they want to buy, they have to wait for one to six months. Only the special distributors of Futian, Jianghuai, and Qingling said that they have the National III Light Truck and have sufficient supplies. All three dealers assured the reporter that either they had their own cars, or that some models had no existing cars, but as long as they paid a deposit, they would be able to offer cars within 7 days. "There are still cars today, and it won't be easy to say tomorrow. After the implementation of State III in Beijing, our cars are selling well!” The dealers of JAC light trucks urgently promoted his products to reporters.

"Now there is no Jiangling light truck that has been discharged by the State III. If you want to buy the National III, I will recommend a transit vehicle for you." A JMC dealer recommended the other Jiangling models to reporters. "It is a national III emission and can be pulled." Goods can also be pulled, and there is no problem in walking on Chang'an Avenue. It will not be fined by the traffic police.” Another Jiangling dealer recommended to the reporter Futian Ao Ling, who was discharged by the State III, “We are also here to act as agents for the Olympics”. Said that the deposit was paid and the car could be picked up within 3 days.

The reporter found that different dealers selling the same brand of light trucks have different supply conditions. A franchised dealer of Futian Light Trucks told reporters that it is possible to buy Euromau which is emitted by the State III, but another Fukuda dealer said that there is no sale of the National III light truck.

Although some light truck dealers do not have the National III products to sell, they say that the light trucks of the Buying Countries II can also be licensed. "We have a number of cars in our country II that have been licensed. After you bought them, you can transfer your account. We have found a relationship with the EPA. It is definitely not a problem. The reporter learned from other dealers that when Beijing State III was to replace the country II, many dealers took the opportunity to license the vehicles in stock, so the light trucks discharged by China II could continue to sell this year. Ms. Zheng from the Beijing Laoyan Automobile Service Center told reporters that a batch of leap-forward light trucks that had a license last year had already been sold out in April and May this year. The remaining State II light trucks are now on the cards. "But in July, you can buy the Jumping Light Truck of Assembly State III 'Sophim' Diesel Engine."

A dealer told the reporter that although the State III is a trend, but in the absence of implementation of the National III standard in other places, the manufacturers will not immediately change the original production plan due to Beijing’s policy, and the product breakdown in the Beijing market also occurs. Not surprising. Some light truck manufacturers whose emissions temporarily fell short of China III standards have also temporarily shifted their targets and focused on foreign markets.

In view of this, Beijing's light truck market still has some of the country's III models out of stock, and it will take time for consumers to buy some of the manufacturers' National III light trucks.

Heavy truck: 9 out of 10

What is the sales situation of the heavy-duty trucks produced by China III in the Beijing market? The reporter selected 12 distributors and representative offices of nine companies including Jiefang, Dongfeng, CNHTC, Shaanxi Zhongqi, Chongqing Hongyan, Futian, Beifang Mercedes-Benz, Hualing, and Jianghuai for unannounced visits.

Judging from the investigation, only 12 dealers and representative offices were responsible for the heavy trucks that were sold in China. III. Among them, two were Sinotruk dealers and Beijing sales subsidiaries, and one was the dealer of North Benz. In general, the country III heavy trucks have a large “vacuum” in the Beijing market. Most of the heavy truck companies’ national III products have no stock in Beijing, and the fastest they have to wait until the end of July, and some may not even be able to determine the date of the entry of the national III vehicle into Beijing.

China National Heavy Duty Truck Dealer told reporters that the State III emissions of heavy trucks only Hao Hao series, the other not yet. Hao Qi 33.6 tons of semi-trailer tractors have their own cars. The Haoyi Warehouses have to be ordered now. They can get cars in about 1 month. "You ask if you can get a license? You can rest assured that you can get a license directly." The heavy truck dealer is very emboldened. North Mercedes-Benz does not have a car. Mr. Ai, a dealer of Beijing Feilongda Automobile Service Co., Ltd., said that he must first pay a deposit and raise the car one month later.

Among the remaining nine dealers and representative offices, five said that the national III heavy trucks can be bought in Beijing by the end of August, one said it will wait until October, and the other three said that it is difficult to determine at present. "Not good", "I can't get out of the house at one and a half," "Isn't the product yet?"

To the reporter's surprise, the Aowei III vehicle that was put on the market earlier this year was not sold in the two 4S stores that liberated heavy trucks. Sales staff told reporters that now only the Aowei II, the country's III will be the fastest at the end of July, and the store's inventory of the State II emissions of Aowei has been unable to license, but other brands of liberation trucks can also be on the card.

In the investigation, the reporter learned that some of the manufacturers' National III vehicles are currently out of stock in Beijing, but there are a number of companies that are expected to receive the State III “pass”. The staff of the Chongqing Red Rock Beijing office told the reporter that the Hongyanguo III car has not yet passed the approval of the Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, and it may not wait until July or August to start selling in Beijing. The Shaanxi Office of China National Heavy Duty Truck and Hualing heavy truck also indicated that the National III Heavy Duty Truck is seeking approval from the Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau.

The reporter also learned during the interview that many vehicles that meet the National III standard are equipped with imported engines. Even if they are engines produced by domestic companies, their key spare parts are also imported from abroad. This has resulted in expensive prices. . Valin's dealer told reporters that the installation of the imported country III engine is more than 10 million yuan more expensive than domestically produced ones.

Early bird gets the worm

Beijing's implementation of the National III standard in advance is a serious challenge for truck companies. The situation was very serious six months ago and it is still very grim. Why is it that after half a year there are still many companies that have failed to "enter Beijing"? The main reason lies in the fact that many companies still fail to prepare for the State III. Since truck companies in China mainly assemble vehicles through outsourced powertrains, we can also understand that “we failed to do a good preparation for China III” as “not able to do a good job of matching the engine with the outsourced engine in time”. . Of course, there are still some non-mainstream companies that have no ability to adapt and match.

As a matter of fact, the implementation of the State III Beijing market ahead of time is quite a taste for many truck companies. Saying "tasteless" is because the State III engine is still too expensive. The State III car is generally more expensive than the State II car on the order of several thousand dollars or even tens of thousands of dollars, which has led to many users holding money to buy, even if it is early Going in also "fishing" less than the benefits of seeing, let alone spending so much effort and money. As a result, there have been many companies that did not pay close attention last year and are not in a hurry this year.

It is precisely because of this that there have been transitional measures such as the early arrival of licenses at the end of last year. However, inventory cars will be sold out sooner or later, and over time, some users will complain that they will not be able to buy a National III car and will not be able to get a license.

"Early birds have worms to eat." The Beijing market can be seen as the "national training ground" for nationwide implementation of the National III on July 1st next year. Those who come in early and those who are "training troops" will have more opportunities to adapt to the market and carry out product improvement and optimization matching against the market. At the same time, the Beijing market is like a "demonstration card." Whoever is advanced will accumulate more brand effects. "It is better to go back to the end of the squid, but it is better to retreat and net."
