In technological transformation investment, it is necessary to focus on supporting the development of high-end chemical products, so that the self-sufficiency rate of high-end petrochemical products will be significantly increased, and the high-end petrochemical industry will be strengthened. In particular, it encourages the research and development of high-end petrochemical products with high added value, strong correlation, alternative import, and fills in gaps, and focuses on the development of functional products and raw materials for the electronic information industry, such as polycarbonate and fluorine resins; Structural materials and products, such as polypropylene resins for vehicles, high-performance radial tires, etc.; differentiated and specialized products for the light industry textile industry, such as caprolactam, polyphenylene sulfide, etc.; dedicated and high-end products for aerospace, such as Large-scale civil aviation tires, high water-absorbing resins, and new materials and products for energy-saving and environmental protection industries, such as polyurethanes and environmentally friendly coatings.
Satisfying the society’s demand for petrochemical high-end products depends not only on the efforts of the company, but also on the government’s planning. The relevant person in charge of the Nanjing Municipal Government recently stated that the city’s petrochemical industry will strengthen its superior base of refined oil and ethylene, extend its crude oil processing, basic chemical raw materials, chemical intermediates, fine chemical and polymer materials, and other industrial chains. Focus on the development of refined petroleum products, resin-specific materials, high-grade fiber, high-grade rubber, new energy, and life science chemicals to promote the petrochemical industry to high-end development.
